Right now Disney’s Broadway production of The Lion King is offering FREE Online Theater Classes for Kids to explore the world of musical theater from home!

Originally, The Lion King Experience was developed for the classroom as an arts education program, but now they’re making this course available to kids at home!  There are two available curriculums, one for Kids (ages 8 to 11) and one for Juniors (ages 12 to 15).

Each session includes a video for students to watch and an at-home activity for them to complete. Sessions are about 45 minutes long and explore the fundamentals of musical theater, including performing, writing, directing, designing, and more. After completing the course, kids will create one of three theatrical projects and write a reflection on what they’ve learned. See more details here!
